At present the Board is made up of 14 Members, 11 Elected and 3 Appointed. Elected Members are directly elected by drainage ratepayers every 3 years. Appointed Members are District Councillors or other representatives from the special levy paying Councils in the Board’s area, ie North Yorkshire Council
